Welcome to the Island Deaf &
Hard of Hearing Centre website!

IDHHC is the only specialized social service agency on Vancouver Island, British Columbia providing counselling and support services to people dealing with a hearing loss. We work with:

• Deaf individuals who use sign language
• Hard of Hearing individuals
• Late Deafened individuals who have lost their hearing late in life
• Individuals who are looking into or have already received a cochlear implant, and need support and training
• Families with Deaf or Hard of Hearing members
• Hearing individuals/groups who require information or training regarding hearing loss and deafness.

We need the support of our community. You can make a difference by participating in the various fundraising events, making a donation, becoming a member and volunteering.
