For over 30 years, IDHHC has been coordinating in-person and virtual sign language interpreting (ASL) services across British Columbia.
We maintain a roster of highly skilled Registered Sign Language Interpreters (both Deaf and hearing) from all regions of BC. When local interpreters are unavailable or virtual services are not an option, we can facilitate interpreter travel to ensure accessibility in all communities.
Our Interpreters:

Are members in good standing with their professional organizations:
o West Coast Association of Visual Language Interpreters (WAVLI)
o Canadian Association of Visual Language Interpreters (CASLI)

Adhere to a strict Code of Ethics, including Professional Conduct and Confidentiality.
We coordinate interpreting services across various settings, including: Community & Public Events, Legal, Education (K-12 & Post-Secondary Institutions), Mental Health & Healthcare Services, Business & Workplace Meetings, Social Events
As a vendor with the Provincial Government, we help ensure that meetings, events, training sessions, workshops, and conferences are fully inclusive. Our services extend to:
